The cantonal office (KAST) of unemployment insurance ensures uniform enforcement of the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG) at the cantonal level. Notifications and transfers from the Regional Employment Centers (RAV) and unemployment funds regarding entitlement issues are processed by KAST, and corresponding orders and appeal decisions are issued.
