Data Protection & Information Security Officer (all genders)

WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

• Ensure data protection: You take on the main responsibility for data protection as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations (e.g., revDSG).
• Shape information security: You perform operational tasks in the area of information security and develop and maintain the information security management system (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001 and other relevant standards.
• Collaboration within the adesso Group: You maintain exchange with other companies of the adesso Group and drive group-wide initiatives in the specialist area.
• Manage risks: You identify, assess, and prioritize risks in the area of information security and data protection and develop measures to reduce risks.
• Training and awareness: You train employees and raise their awareness of information security and data protection topics.
• Incident management: You coordinate and handle security incidents and data protection breaches, including communication with authorities and affected parties.
• Consulting: You advise departments and projects on information security and data protection requirements.
• Support: If needed, you are ready to participate in customer projects and support the internal IT team.
• Accompany audits: You prepare, conduct, and professionally accompany internal and external audits.
• Documentation and processes: You maintain and further develop policies, processes, and templates in the area of information security and data protection.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Education & Qualification: You have completed vocational training in computer science or a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Data protection expertise: You know the requirements of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and ideally have already gained experience as a data protection officer.
• Information security knowledge: You have solid knowledge in the area of ISO/IEC 27001 as well as training or further education in IT or information security (e.g., CAS Information Security, ITIL, certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH, etc.).
• Experience with ISMS: You have experience in building, operating, or maintaining an ISMS and are familiar with audit procedures and the requirements of certification bodies.
• Analytical and structured working style: You work in a structured, analytical, and team-oriented manner and bring a high problem-solving competence.
• IT competence: You are confident with MS Office 365 and ideally know tools like Confluence and Jira.
• Language skills: You have very good English and German skills.
