This position offers you
- You conduct supplier audits and initial sample inspections and ensure that agreed measures are reliably implemented
- The development of test specifications regarding aesthetics and dimensional accuracy, technical clarifications with suppliers as well as the definition and enforcement of quality requirements are part of your daily routine
- You actively work in various project teams (core teams) and take responsibility for quality-relevant supplier issues from the start of the project
- In complaint management, you take responsibility for 8D reports, initiate immediate measures, and accompany escalations until completion
- You train suppliers on technical and organizational requirements, request proof of training participation, and specifically identify improvement potentials
- You develop and negotiate quality assurance agreements (QSV) together with relevant interfaces and define clear quality objectives
- You work closely with purchasing and development, support series approvals, and ensure that test equipment and packaging specifications are correctly implemented
What you bring to the position
- You have a technical basic education and already have several years of professional experience in industrial manufacturing as well as in collaboration with suppliers
- Further training or studies focusing on quality management is a plus and complements your profile optimally
- You have solid knowledge of quality techniques and methods such as 8D reports, FMEA, SPC or Six Sigma and are familiar with ISO management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Working with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA, as well as with MS Office is part of your daily work
- As a communicative and assertive personality, you think analytically, work in a structured manner, and bring a high degree of personal responsibility
- International supplier contacts are not new to you – you bring intercultural competence and willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
- You have excellent German skills as well as pronounced, negotiation-secure English skills
