Foreman/-woman Nature Conservation Maintenance

The Canton of Zurich has a treasure of valuable landscapes that are important habitats for plants, animals, and humans. With a 14-member team, the Nature Conservation Office carries out special tasks for the enhancement and maintenance of these areas from the depot in Pfäffikon ZH.

Your tasks

• Leading a team of 6-8 employees and civil service workers
• Planning, coordinating the team, and actively participating in maintenance and care work in the nature conservation area
• Participation in the overall organization and management of the depot

Your profile

• Completed vocational/technical EFZ training (e.g., forestry, agriculture, gardening/landscaping), ideally with further training as a foreman/-woman
• Ideally; further training as a foreman/-woman or equivalent experience in team leadership
• Knowledge in species and biotope protection, enjoyment of nature, and technical flair
• Strong organizational skills as well as an independent, reliable, and team-oriented personality with assertiveness
