The Department of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich (www.vd.zh.ch) includes the Office for Labor, the Office for Economy, the Office for Mobility, as well as administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV). The General Secretariat is the staff unit of the Director and the service center of the Directorate. Starting January 1, 2026, we are looking, initially limited to 2 years, for an implementation-strong personality who shines both operationally and conceptually. You develop concepts for innovative recruiting, implement measures, and find the best talents for our organization. In doing so, you work closely with HR consulting and the specialist departments – with a lot of personal responsibility and creative freedom.
Your tasks:
- Independent execution of the entire recruiting process: from job posting to interview to salary determination
- Design, implementation, and continuous development of recruiting strategies, processes, and measures
- Organization, coordination, and support of assessment centers
- Use of modern recruiting channels as well as targeted active sourcing for direct approach of talents
- Building and analyzing recruiting key figures with derivation of concrete recommendations for action
- Monitoring labor market trends and contributing innovative ideas to strengthen employer attractiveness
Your profile:
- Completed higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in recruiting, ideally with an HR consulting background
- Solid knowledge of modern recruiting tools, active sourcing, and a feel for current labor market and talent trends
- Conceptual strength and strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality
- Communication and consulting skills in dealing with various stakeholders
- Independent, organized working style with a clear view of priorities
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Team player with pragmatism, flexibility, and humor
