As a Specialist Site Manager Fire Protection in Zurich, you will accompany demanding construction projects during the execution and commissioning phases. You check the implementation of fire protection measures on site, coordinate quality assurance, and together with architects, specialist planners, and contractors, ensure that fire protection concepts become safe and functional buildings.

We are looking for a personality with experience in construction, technical understanding, and a trained eye for detail. What to expect:

• You accompany demanding construction projects from planning through execution to acceptance and commissioning and take on tasks in fire protection quality assurance.
• Your focus is on the execution and commissioning phases. You coordinate and review the work and installation plans as well as the required verification documents of the involved trades.
• You check the professional implementation of fire protection measures directly on site and ensure that they comply with the applicable regulations, the application conditions of the construction products, and the fire protection concept.
• You document your site inspections, record deviations and defects, follow up on their rectification, and review the submitted evidence.
• You work closely with clients, architects, specialist planners, contractors, system owners, and authorities, ensuring clear and transparent communication.

What you bring:

• You have completed a degree as a civil engineer or architect or have a technical construction vocational training with further education in site management or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years of professional experience in site management, project management, or a comparable function in construction.
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in fire protection quality assurance, as a fire protection safety officer (SiBe), or in specialist site management fire protection.
• You are familiar with Swiss fire protection regulations and have a qualification as a VKF fire protection specialist or an equivalent training recognised in Switzerland.
• You are confident in using MS Office and ideally have experience with digital tools for site documentation and defect management, such as PlanRadar, Dalux, or comparable applications.
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and appreciate collaboration in an interdisciplinary team.
• You communicate confidently and persuasively and have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
