Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2024.609 / Contract type: Permanent contract from 60 to 100% / Hours: 8:30 (7am-4pm or 10am-7pm) as well as 12h (7am-7pm or night and weekend on-call) - Consideration of leave requests / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
Due to a departure in the team, we are looking for our future Operating Room Instrument Nurse to complete our operating room team.
What will you be expected to do?
- Prepare and instrument all operations performed in the various surgical specialties
- Work in collaboration with other health professionals to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Ensure strict application of hygiene and asepsis rules
- Collaborate in patient preparation and ensure the smooth running of surgical interventions as a circulating nurse
- Participate in the supervision of training staff
- Participate in operating room projects
Who will you work with?
What do we expect from you?
- Hold a diploma as Operating Room Technician (TSO) or specialized Operating Room Nurse (IDDO) / IBODE recognized by the Red Cross
- Have at least one year of specialized professional practice in Switzerland as an instrument nurse
- Demonstrate versatility in different surgical disciplines
- Be able to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent adaptability and integration skills
