About the job
Our modern logistics centre with around 180 employees ensures that the branches and our online customers are supplied with goods daily. Thanks to efficient and cost-effective logistics, we can offer our customers an optimal range.
We are looking for YOU immediately or by arrangement as a Specialist in Logistics Processes for our newly created role with plenty of scope for design.
As a process designer, you support the logistics department management for stationary logistics as a staff function in the continuous development of operational and system-supported logistics processes. You work directly with group and team leaders on the floor to improve workflows, introduce standards, and drive optimisation projects. You actively contribute to workshops and projects with the aim of sustainably increasing efficiency, quality, customer orientation, and transparency.
Your area of responsibility:
- You analyse and optimise existing logistics processes in consultation with managers and employees
- You initiate and accompany improvement measures, e.g. in material flows, workflows, space utilisation, quality, safety, and productivity
- Further development of physical and system-supported processes as well as their interfaces to suppliers, branches, etc.
- You coordinate optimisation projects and participate in workshops and projects
- Creation and updating of standards, work instructions, process descriptions, checklists, and visualisations
- You promote and check standardised working methods such as visual order, 5S, clear workplace design, and comprehensible workflows
- You create key figures and evaluations and prepare them in an understandable way
- You incorporate the requirements of logistics into IT-supported improvements and accompany tests and implementations
Our requirements:
- You have completed a basic logistics or technical training, ideally supplemented by further training in logistics, supply chain, or process management
- An additional qualification in project, change, or improvement management is an advantage
- You bring experience in the logistics environment and have a good understanding of operational and system-supported logistics processes and their dependencies
- Knowledge in process optimisation, process documentation, and continuous improvement is a plus
- Ability to describe technical requirements clearly and translate them into process or system improvements
- You are comfortable using MS Excel, and your IT affinity as well as your confident handling of ERP systems make it easier for you to get started with new systems
- You communicate fluently in German; knowledge of French is an advantage
- You think analytically and your structured, reliable, and team-oriented working style characterises you
