About the job
As an assembly electrician, you mainly work on construction sites and assist in the installation of electrical systems. You lay cables and wires, install switches, sockets, lighting, as well as simple electrical devices, and prepare installations according to plans. You usually work in a team and follow clear instructions. Your tasks also include checking installations, assisting with commissioning, and performing simple maintenance work. The profession is very practice-oriented and forms an important foundation for the safe and functional construction of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
School and inter-company courses
You attend vocational school 1 day per week. The inter-company courses (üK) serve to practically learn, deepen, and practice the professional basics; you attend these for 40 days during your training.

- Completed secondary school (9th grade)
- Good performance in mathematics, geometry, English, and German
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Good physical resilience

- Good manners for contact with customers and colleagues
- No color vision deficiency to correctly distinguish wire colors
