 At the Engineering Center with our client from the pharmaceutical sector, you support researchers in the development and realisation of innovative laboratory solutions. As a polymechanic in prototype construction, you independently take on technical projects, mainly in the precision mechanics field, and contribute your expertise to the successful implementation of research and development tasks. 

What to expect

• Receiving, analysing and planning technical customer enquiries
• Independent manufacturing of mechanical components using available production resources
• Use of modern rapid prototyping technologies, especially 3D printing
• Design of individual parts as well as smaller assemblies
• Development of practical technical solutions in close collaboration with scientists and the Engineering Center team
• Professional advice and technical support directly to internal customers
• Carrying out order-related administrative tasks, including material planning and procurement

What you bring

• Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ or comparable technical education
• Solid knowledge in precision mechanics and manufacturing technology (CNC and CAM knowledge)
• Experience in the design and manufacture of prototypes (CAD knowledge)
• Interest in innovative technologies such as 3D printing and rapid prototyping
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Enjoyment in working with scientists and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and service-oriented working style
• Good oral and written English skills
