Your Crew:
In our production team, you work with 32 experienced specialists on highly precise components such as the Payload Fairings – the protective covers that safely accompany satellites on their journey into space. Their manufacture requires craftsmanship, technical sensitivity, and the highest precision. Our team combines many years of experience with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. What sets us apart: a strong sense of teamwork, a deep understanding of processes, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Together, we lay the foundation for successful space missions – from the first step to the launch.
Your Mission:
- Lead the production team at the Emmen Launchers plant
- Responsible for production execution (manufacturing, assembly and integration, as well as testing)
- Lead and manage the production of the plant/production unit through efficiency in manufacturing execution
- Ensure compliance with project production budgets
- Shopfloor management and definition of production standards
- Balanced demand/capacity management
- Initiatives for productivity improvement
- CAPEX planning in line with new product introductions (NPI)
- Execution of production orders within the specified quantity, quality, delivery dates, and costs (HK)
- Collaboration with quality assurance/product assurance and ensuring the required production documentation
- Optimization of manufacturing processes regarding costs, quality, error risk/tolerances in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, quality/product assurance, production planning, and supporting processes
- Support of investment/CAPEX planning and execution ensuring adherence to planned financial budgets
- Participation in the non-conformance process as well as in measures for root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
- Support of the industrial engineering team in offers, concept work, and developments
- Assume leadership responsibility towards direct employees, conduct HR processes such as competency planning, recruitment, performance management, development, etc.
- Lead according to BG values and the Code of Conduct, drive personnel and leadership development

Your Story:
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment of CFRP and aluminum processing
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably with a production technology focus
- Federal diploma from a higher technical college
- Solid technical background and production technology background in a project-related industry
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Good knowledge of the SAP system and MS Office applications
- Good understanding of Operational Excellence methods
- Ability to read and understand all types of technical drawings
- Good understanding of quality standards, Operational Excellence, and health and safety regulations
- Good English skills
Nice to have’s:
- Experience as a team leader/manager in a regulated environment
- Experience in aerospace
