The beautifully located Hochweid Senior Center in Kilchberg includes a retirement and nursing home with space for 48 residents as well as a care living group with 10 places for people with dementia. The focus of our work is on palliative care and dementia care. Our center also includes a senior settlement with 53 senior apartments as well as 5 additional senior apartments in the Conradstift at Dorfstrasse 80/82.
Due to a new appointment, we are looking for a committed and professionally competent personality for the exciting phase of our Hochweid Senior Center who will contribute to the further development of our foundation.
Overall Management of the Hochweid Senior Center
You will take over the executive management of the senior center and bear the overall economic responsibility including the implementation and control of work according to the mission statement, strategic guidelines, the municipality's competence regulations, and the company's service agreements.
Your Main Tasks
- Management of department heads such as nursing and care, hospitality, technical service, and administration
- Further development of the senior center according to the strategic guidelines of the board of trustees
- Ensuring a living and care experience for residents that corresponds to the company’s principles and service promise
- Ensuring high service quality in the gastronomy and residential areas as well as care standards that meet contemporary and formal quality requirements
- Establishing an open, inspiring, and transparent corporate culture
- Formulating, initiating, and ensuring all measures to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term economic and qualitative company goals
- Financial management and monitoring of balance sheets, liquidity, ongoing business, and cost development using existing key figures and analysis tools
- Ensuring efficient processes within and across departments
- Activity plans and measures for employee motivation, retention, and targeted promotion of junior staff in cooperation with the HR department
- Regular exchange with the board of trustees
Your Secondary Tasks
- Accompanying the ongoing transformation process for the long-term orientation of the senior center
- Promotion, maintenance, and measures to increase the reputation of the senior center
- Development of concepts to improve workflows and quality assurance
- Collaboration and relationships with stakeholders in the municipality of Kilchberg and neighboring communities
- Building and maintaining partnerships in the relevant environment; further development of the network with market partners
