About the job
The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet, and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our houses. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a position at the Heinrichsbad location starting in May:
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You perform cleaning tasks as well as activities in floor hospitality, such as breakfast service and textile management according to the deployment plan and instructions
- You consistently adhere to the specified hygiene and quality standards
- You use materials economically and properly
- You operate and maintain various cleaning machines and devices as well as coffee machines and dishwashers
- You comply with safety regulations according to company guidelines
- You perform administrative tasks, such as recording services and billing
- You organize and plan cleaning work in consultation with the tenants for assignments in the Tanneck house
- You perform laundry services for the tenants when assigned to the Tanneck house
Our requirements:
- You have training as a domestic specialist – hospitality EFZ or many years of experience in cleaning
- You have very good oral and written German skills
- You work independently, carefully, and flexibly and are very reliable
- You like to work alone according to the deployment plan, even outside a larger team and in a quieter environment
- You have a neat appearance and a customer-friendly demeanor
- You deal helpfully and benevolently with all stakeholders
- You are physically fit, resilient, and enjoy your work
- You are a motivated and team-oriented personality with good manners
- You have a high awareness of quality and hygiene
