Tasks

As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you bring our guests safely and punctually to their destination and bear responsibility for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers, and the cargo on board. Other tasks include:

• Operating SWISS aircraft in a safe and efficient manner while considering punctuality, economy, and high quality standards for our guests
• Flight preparation and execution according to SWISS guidelines
• Collaboration with crew, ground staff, and air traffic control
• Support and deputize the commander in all matters
• Continuously and independently maintaining and deepening professional knowledge
• Responsible and sustainable actions

Requirements

For the position as Direct Entry First Officer A330 at SWISS, the following criteria must be met:

In addition to completed education with Matura/Abitur, HF diploma, general university or university of applied sciences entrance qualification, you meet the following requirements:

• ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL)
• Multi Engine IR rating with PBN
• Minimum 1500h MPA (MTOM >35t) at employment
• Medical Class 1 certificate
• Seamlessly documented flying performance record (logbook extract, license, etc.)
• Swiss citizenship or EU-27/EFTA passport
• Very good German language skills (at least language level B2 proof if German is not mother tongue/daily language) & good English skills (at least ICAO Level 4)
• Clean criminal record
• Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
• Height: 160-198 cm
• Maximum age: 56 years based on collective labor agreement
