Migration and Civil Law Office | 100% | Chur
The Migration and Civil Law Office currently has over 230 employees at more than 20 locations and is responsible for all tasks in the migration sector, especially for the granting and withdrawal of permits, placement and assistance, execution of expulsions, as well as integration. Furthermore, identity documents are issued for Swiss citizens, naturalizations are carried out, and supervision of civil status authorities is executed. The main office of the Migration and Civil Law Office is in Chur.
For the Migration and Civil Law Office, we are looking immediately or by agreement for an administration assistant.
- Register, manage, and control asylum sector data
- Enter and maintain data related to foreign persons' identity documents
- Issue work permits
- Prepare tables, statistics, and reports
- Handle general correspondence and prepare positions
- Provide information at reception/counter as well as by phone
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education
- Professional experience in the commercial sector with corresponding further training
- Independence, personal responsibility, and willingness to make decisions
- Ability to work in a team, conscientious and precise working style
- Good verbal and written expression
- Empathy in contact with different cultures and life situations
- Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word and a strong affinity for IT
