Your main tasks:
• Care for a wide variety of animal species (Humboldt penguins, ponies, ring-tailed lemurs, black-handed spider monkeys, camels, etc.) and wild animals (giraffes, meerkats, cheetahs)
• Co-responsible for the care and feeding of the animals, medical animal training
• Maintenance of the facilities and adjacent areas
• Participation in projects and the development of animal experiences
• Assistance with animal attractions such as elephant feeding, camel or pony rides
• Support in training our apprentices
• Direct contact with our guests, guided feedings, meeting points, tours
• Collaboration with the veterinary service
Your profile:
• Completed training as an animal caretaker (wild animals)
• High empathy for both animals and people
• Cooperative, flexible, and team-oriented personality
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of social interaction with employees and guests of various nationalities
• Interest in professional development
