Then we have the perfect position for you in the Game Analysis & Game Development department of the Swiss Football Association. Starting January 1, 2026
or by arrangement, the SFV is looking for a National Team Game Analyst & Employee for the Game Analysis & Game Development Department in the Football Development Directorate.
Area of responsibility:
In the Game Analysis & Game Development area within the Football Development Directorate, the role includes contributing to the strategic further development of game analysis in Swiss football as well as participating in the planning and implementation of training and continuing education measures and internal and external workshops. It also involves participation in cross-departmental and cross-directorate projects. Another focus is the active design and further development of game analysis in the area of youth development. Furthermore, the role requires shaping and further developing the Performance Data area, with a special focus on applicability, transparency, and clarity of communication. In addition, you act as the central contact person for game analysts within the national teams.
As the responsible game analyst for a national team, the task includes independent operational analysis activities for a national team. This includes preparation, execution, and follow-up of game analyses in the areas of opponent, team, and individual analysis as well as close collaboration with the coaching staff as part of the technical team. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for at least 50 days per year is required.
You bring the following:
- Completed training in game analysis (including further education)
- Solid practical experience in football - ideally as a game analyst, coach, and/or player
- Networked thinking, enthusiasm for innovation, and strong social skills
- Goal-oriented and proactive working style, confident appearance, and convincing presentation skills
- Very good German and/or French skills (native language) as well as very good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Possession of a coaching diploma is an advantage
