The Cantonal Tax Office is responsible for enforcing the provisions of federal, cantonal, and municipal taxes. It ensures the complete registration of all taxpayers, professional and customer-oriented tax assessment, and uniform tax collection.
The Department of Natural Persons Securities of the Cantonal Tax Office St.Gallen is responsible for the control and evaluation of declared securities in tax returns.

Specialist in Securities Audit (m/f/d)
Workload: 80%
Workplace: Rorschach and Lower Rhine Valley
What to expect
- You check the securities registers of natural persons
- You determine the relevant income from movable assets, the deductions for administrative costs, the relevant values of movable assets, as well as the entitlement to reimbursement of withholding tax
- You check reports from the automatic exchange of information
- You provide professional support to municipalities in the area of movable assets
What distinguishes you
- You have a bachelor's degree or other higher education in business administration (e.g., fiduciary with a federal specialist certificate, finance and accounting specialist with a federal specialist certificate, or equivalent education)
- You bring practical experience in the areas of taxes, banking, or fiduciary services
- Ideally, you have knowledge in the crypto area, are interested in deepening it, and applying it in the tax environment
- You are decisive, resilient, and a team player
- You are characterized by an independent, careful, and analytical way of working
- You think and act customer-oriented
- You appear confident in communication and negotiation
