The dreischiibe foundation is an innovative, non-profit social enterprise. In our versatile service and trade center in Herisau, St. Gallen, and Flawil, we create professional and personal perspectives for people with mental impairments at 220 work, training, and integration places. In the day center and the meeting center, we promote social integration with 60 visitor places.
In Herisau and Flawil, we run a maintenance service where we manage properties on a contractual basis. To complement our maintenance team in Herisau, we are looking for someone to start immediately or by arrangement
Head of Maintenance/Operations with federal diploma (80%)
Your central role
As the head of maintenance, you actively shape the diverse assignments with social responsibility. You lead professionally and personally, optimize processes according to economic criteria, and simultaneously create valuable integration opportunities.
Your core tasks
- Leadership of the specialist staff and ensuring the pedagogical mandate
- Main responsibility for maintenance assignments, from customer acquisition to quality assurance and active participation in day-to-day business
Strategic development
- Further development of the area in coordination with management
- Market-oriented alignment of the service offering
- Budget responsibility and investment planning
Social responsibility
- Designing workplaces for people with special needs
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Implementation of the pedagogical concept in daily work
Your qualification profile
- Training as a specialist in operations or maintenance
- Completed training in work/social pedagogy is an advantage
- Experience as a vocational trainer
- Proven experience in a comparable function
- Solid knowledge in quality management and occupational safety
- Competence in supporting and guiding people with mental impairments
