Project Manager Engineer for Land Improvements
- SAGR56
- The SAGR's mission is to apply federal and cantonal legislation on structural improvements in agriculture; the land improvements sector ensures the organization, management, and subsidization of land improvement projects.
As a project manager engineer for land improvements, you lead and participate in studies aimed at optimizing agricultural land, notably through land consolidation and rural engineering works. You are responsible for managing administrative and financial processes related to subsidies for land improvement works (land consolidation, drainage, road construction, electricity supply, water supply, periodic restoration of structures, etc.). On a daily basis, you participate in the management and execution of works while overseeing certain rural engineering interventions. You assist expert commissions by providing your technical and administrative support. You are also responsible for monitoring the conservation measures associated with subsidized works, such as legal property restrictions, subdivision prohibitions, subsidy reimbursements, or periodic inspections of maintenance of structures. Finally, you provide opinions within the framework of consultation procedures in agricultural zones (building permits, development plans, etc.) on behalf of the SAGR, thus contributing to thoughtful and sustainable land planning.
Holder of a master's degree (EPF or HES) in geomatics or an equivalent qualification, you may have completed your training with a federal engineer-surveyor diploma or plan to obtain it soon. With at least 3 years of professional experience in rural engineering, surveying, or geomatics, you possess in-depth knowledge of geometric works and agricultural structural improvements. You are also familiar with federal and cantonal subsidy principles, master project management and rural land law. Thanks to your analytical skills and sense of responsibility, you interpret and communicate complex data effectively. Moreover, you are proficient in office software and geographic information systems (GIS) and their databases and have a good understanding of written German. Finally, you hold a valid category B driving license.
