Main Tasks
- Planning, co-designing, conducting, and leading on-site inspections at insurance companies
- Regular interaction with the C-level of insurance companies
- Close collaboration with other organizational units of FINMA as well as relevant cross-functional roles and specialists
- Ensuring documentation of results; in-depth clarification of regulatory violations and related issues of the supervised institutions as well as oral and written reporting
- Bringing new ideas into our workflows and tools
Profile
- University/University of Applied Sciences degree, e.g., in business administration
- At least 4 – 7 years of professional experience with a primary insurer or a bank with insight into risk management and/or insurance technology or with an auditing firm, ideally further training as a certified auditor or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Quick comprehension, pronounced combinatorial ability, and a good nose for details
- Empathetic, communicative, and team-oriented personality with a convincing demeanor, negotiation skills, and a touch of humor
- Excellent German or French language skills (C2) or very good knowledge (B2) of the other language as well as English (B2)
