About the job
In this role, you make an important contribution to financial market supervision in the area of non-financial risk management in the fields of corporate governance, risk culture, compliance, and the internal control system (ICS).
- Collaboration and co-design in the further development of the existing supervisory system and the supervisory instruments used
- Participation in on-site inspections at supervised financial institutions
- Checking compliance with supervisory requirements as well as monitoring and analyzing environmental developments
- Support with regulatory issues
- Close cooperation and coordination with the supervisory departments and other cross-sectional functions within FINMA
- University or university of applied sciences degree in economics, law, or related fields of study, ideally with further training in corporate governance and/or compliance
- At least five years of professional experience at a financial service provider, an audit firm, or a consulting company
- In-depth knowledge and proven experience in the areas of corporate governance, risk culture, compliance, ICS as well as risk management and compensation (specific knowledge in banks is an advantage)
- You have a quick grasp, are a team player, and have an independent, solution- and process-oriented working style with strong analytical skills
- Very good German and French skills (C2), English skills are an advantage
