Operations Manager (m/f/d)
Main Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, you are the driving force behind the daily operational excellence of the hotel. You ensure that every stay of our guests meets the highest standards of quality, service, and comfort. With your eye for detail, diplomatic skills, and passion for hospitality, you represent the hotel as a host at the highest level.
- Conducting regular hotel tours with guests to actively gather feedback and maintain relationships
- Presence in the lobby and public areas as a visible contact person for guests
- Ensuring consistently outstanding guest ratings through proactive action
- Independently handling guest complaints professionally and solution-oriented
- Developing and implementing measures to prevent recurring complaints
- Controlling and ensuring quality, service, and hygiene standards according to hotel and brand guidelines
- Conducting regular quality and hygiene audits in cooperation with department heads
- Close collaboration with the Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, and Technical departments to ensure smooth operations
- Supporting the General Manager in strategic planning and operational implementation of projects and initiatives
- Participating in management meetings, reporting on guest feedback, quality, and operational issues
- Co-responsibility for compliance with legal regulations, especially in hygiene, safety, and occupational health
- Motivating, coaching, and training employees regarding service excellence and brand standards
- Promoting a cross-cultural, service-oriented team atmosphere
Your Profile
- Completed hotel management training or studies in hospitality/hotel management
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position within luxury or 5-star hospitality
- Strong leadership skills, communication ability, and organizational talent
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
- Well-groomed, professional appearance and high service orientation
- Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to act confidently even in demanding situations
