The Swiss Saltworks ensure the salt supply for Switzerland on behalf of the cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The saltworks currently operate 3 saltworks with their associated mining areas. In Schweizerhalle and Riburg, extraction takes place using the leaching process in various brine fields, and in Bex underground also using the leaching process. The safe extraction of the approved salt deposits is of essential importance to all of us. As part of further expansion, we are looking for the following team member for the drilling and brine field operations in the Riburg/Möhlin and Pratteln area:

Skilled Worker / Allrounder Brine Field Operation (Measuring, Supporting & Controlling)

What you can achieve with us

• Responsible for regular and smooth groundwater sampling in the saltworks periphery
• Ongoing sampling at existing drillings
• Supporting the team with brine field work including regulation of leaching quantities, monitoring the leaching process, at the borehole, etc.
• Support in monitoring maintenance work in the brine field including stations, shafts, and pipeline (line inspections)
• Recording and reporting ongoing conditions
• Assisting with process optimization and work planning

Your know-how and background

• You will be trained in this special working environment (sampling drillings) by the existing team
• Construction/technical training (civil engineering, skilled manual work)
• Good communicator, stress- and weather-resistant, proactive and reliable
• Very good German skills spoken and written, car driving license
