The Küsnacht school is a development-oriented public school. It includes four primary school units, the secondary school center, as well as Tempus (vocational preparation year).
A special feature of the secondary school center is our competence center. It is a place that is open to all students during school hours, at lunchtime, and after school. Another highlight is our cafeteria. It offers freshly prepared meals at lunchtime, is also open during breaks, and is very popular with young people and teachers.
To support the Secondary School Center, we are looking for a specialist teacher starting August 1, 2026.
Specialist Teacher Secondary Level A and B 40% - 60%
Your tasks
The teaching subjects are: Mathematics (13 lessons per week), Media and Computer Science (3 lessons per week). You teach all lessons as a co-class teacher in the 2nd secondary school, in a grade with four experienced class teachers.
What you bring
A prerequisite for the position is a teaching diploma recognized by the EDK for secondary level I. You are open to new things, tolerant and appreciative towards others, but also benevolent, demanding, and consistent with the students. We look forward to welcoming you to our team soon.
What we can offer you
In the Zentrum school building, thirteen classes are taught this school year by a committed, humorous, and innovative teaching team. We are a small, manageable, development- and performance-oriented school with a lot of commitment to the young people and enjoy collegial cooperation. The Küsnacht secondary school is reachable within a few minutes on foot from the train station. Our students work with laptops and iPads and are very performance-oriented.
