The General Secretariat is the interface to the higher cantonal authorities and supports the Rectorate in fulfilling its leadership tasks. It coordinates the management of the university committees, serves as a contact point for legal issues at HSG, and oversees data protection, compliance, archiving, and records management.
Your tasks
- You advise and support the Rectorate as well as the administrative units, institutes, and departments of the University of St.Gallen on legal matters
- You review, develop, and revise contracts (as well as contract templates)
- You develop and revise university regulations
- You prepare resolutions and decisions of university bodies
- You contribute to the preparation of legal opinions
- You advise the university in legal disputes
- You support internal organizational projects with your legal expertise
- You assist the University of St.Gallen in the (prospective) compliance with legal regulations
Your profile
- Completed law degree (licentiate / master) from a Swiss university
- Several years of legal professional experience in a comparable position
- Reliable, structured, and precise way of working
- Solution- and people-oriented communication skills
- Very good German skills, good English skills
- Affinity for digital technologies and workflows
