To strengthen our engineering team at the Visp, Switzerland location
we are looking for a dedicated personality as Plant Engineer.
In this role, you are in the thick of things: You ensure that our production plants run reliably, continuously improve, and are always technically up to date. You actively shape the further development of our manufacturing lines, identify optimization potentials, and implement exciting investment and improvement projects from idea to execution.
You work closely with interdisciplinary engineering, production, and technical teams and take on a key role between operations, innovation, and growth. With your expertise, you directly contribute to securing the performance of our plants in the long term – supporting Arxada's claim to develop technological solutions that go beyond the ordinary.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Planning and implementation of maintenance measures in the assigned plant area.
- Ensuring, reviewing, and continuously maintaining the technical plant documentation.
- Support in plant responsibility as well as taking over deputies and duties within the department.
- Planning and realization of investment projects as well as participation in risk analyses, operational trials, and plant optimizations.
- Technical responsibility as a specialist for assigned technical topics as well as active knowledge transfer in the field of mechanics.
Qualifications and experience:
- Completed training as a mechanic or locksmith EFZ with several years of professional experience or technician HF (mechanical engineering or process engineering).
- Solid experience in the field of operational engineering.
- Very good German and good English skills.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Independent, structured working style combined with solution-oriented thinking and high resilience.
