The University Psychiatric Clinics (UPK) Basel are one of the leading psychiatric clinics in Switzerland. Our goal is the continuous improvement of the treatment of our patients to achieve their best possible quality of life.

The Facility Management department contributes to the preservation of value and operational safety by planning and carrying out repair, maintenance and servicing work on buildings, systems and facilities. It creates an optimal working environment for all clinics on the campus.

What to expect

• As a trainee specialist in facility maintenance, specialising in building services, you will gain a broad insight and take on tasks in property maintenance, maintenance of green spaces as well as in the inspection and maintenance of heating, ventilation, sanitary and electrical systems (HVACSE).
• You will learn about operational and customer-relevant processes, assist in problem-solving and support the improvement of workflows.

What distinguishes you

• You have completed compulsory schooling and/or attended a secondary school
• You are responsible, independent, careful, a team player and service-oriented
• Good manners and a neat appearance are natural to you
• You are interested in people and especially in the exciting healthcare environment
• You have good physical fitness, manual skills and technical understanding
