You are completing an apprenticeship as an electrical engineer, automation technician, or in a similar technical profession and want to find out if the profession of automation engineer is right for you? Then VTU Engineering Switzerland AG offers you the ideal opportunity: In our internship, you will gain insight into exciting projects in process automation and EMSR technology. You will work with experienced engineers and learn how automation is implemented in practice. Gather valuable experiences and find out if your path should lead you towards engineering.
Your tasks:
- Support in the specialist planning of process automation: You actively participate in the concept development and assist in the implementation of automation projects as well as in coordination with other departments.
- Insights into ATEX requirements: You accompany the design of explosion-proof systems and support consulting and testing tasks.
- Participation in installation approvals and inspections: You assist in electrical approvals on-site and learn how to prepare and conduct these.
- Project support on the construction site: You get a behind-the-scenes look at planning, organization, and control in construction management.
- Support in the area of Functional Safety: You learn about standards and guidelines and assist in the implementation of safety-relevant functions.
Your profile:
- You want to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and dive into exciting industrial construction projects.
- You have completed an apprenticeship as an electrical engineer, automation technician, or similar.
- Initial knowledge of electrical standards or in the pharmaceutical/chemical environment is an advantage.
- You are motivated to learn about tasks on-site with the customer.
- You enjoy working in a team, are communicative, and bring a sense of responsibility.
- Good German and English skills.
