The Department of Economics of the Canton of Zurich (www.vd.zh.ch) oversees the Office for Labor, the Office for Economic Affairs, the Office for Mobility, and administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV).
In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economic Affairs (AWI) contributes to strengthening the location of Zurich. With around 120 employees, the economic competencies are bundled in the AWI. The areas of location promotion, work permits, working conditions, and economics are located here. The Finance & Controlling department in the AWI staff provides a wide range of services for the Office for Economic Affairs and the Office for Labor (AFA).
Are you experienced in financial accounting for complex organizations and can take on responsibility? We are looking for a dedicated professional with experience in general and subsidiary ledgers, as well as a keen eye for processes and interconnections – especially in dealing with parallel accounting of both offices and the SECO.

Your tasks:
- Ensuring correct accounting with monthly and annual financial statements according to the requirements of the canton and the Seco
- Controlling tasks are expandable depending on the applicant profile
- Organizational and professional development of accounting
- Process responsibility for the defined IKS processes and conducting IKS controls
- Preparation and accompaniment of audits (audit and in-depth controls of financial control, Seco audit ALK and RAV/LAM/KAST)
Your profile:
- Completed further training with a diploma in finance and accounting with 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable function
- SAP knowledge FI/CO, AA, SD, KR
- Administrative experience is an advantage
- Team orientation, networked thinking, service orientation, and decision-making ability
- Integrative and results-oriented personality with an interest in cross-departmental collaboration
