Head of Internal Sales Department German-speaking Switzerland (m/f/d)

About the job

In this central leadership role, you report directly to the two Co-CEOs. You take overall responsibility for the two internal sales teams «Cable Sales» and «IT Network Sales» with a total of around 12 employees and significantly shape the pricing, terms, and customer strategy in German-speaking Switzerland.

Your area of responsibility:

• Responsibility for price, discount, and terms systems including new customer guidelines
• Conclusion and management of customer agreements in German-speaking Switzerland
• Setting sales prices in daily business taking into account market conditions, purchase prices, and margin targets
• Pricing in project business in close cooperation with the Head of Field Sales German-speaking Switzerland
• Responsibility for net price lists (NPL) including regular (usually monthly) adjustments
• Leadership, coaching, and targeted development of the internal sales teams Cable Sales and IT Network Sales or the two team leaders
• Management of a defined customer portfolio
• Creation, analysis, and target-group appropriate preparation of sales statistics and key figures
• Approval of new customer openings
• Conducting product, standards, and guideline training (internal and external)

Your profile

• Completed training in the electrical field (e.g., electrician)
• Advanced training in business administration, sales, or comparable
• Several years of leadership experience ideally in internal sales or a similar function
• Entrepreneurial mindset as well as high customer and market orientation
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style
• Communicative personality with high social competence and assertiveness
• German as mother tongue, good French skills are an advantage
