The City of Langenthal forms the center of the Bernese Oberaargau with a catchment area of around 80,000 people and, with around 16,300 inhabitants, is the eighth largest municipality in the canton of Bern.
Educational Specialist (approx. 40 - 50%)
The day school services of the City of Langenthal provide care for kindergarten and school children outside of compulsory school lessons. We are looking for a motivated personality by agreement until July 31, 2026 (with the option of extension) for 3 to 4 shifts per week on three and a half days as:

- You support the team professionally and strengthen a common needs-oriented pedagogy
- With your empathy and presence, you promote the social integration of children and adolescents in everyday life
- You actively, participatively, and creatively involve the children and adolescents in shaping their leisure time
- You accompany the children during the communal lunch
- You work closely and solution-oriented with the team and the day school management
- The execution of tasks in the domestic area rounds off your range of duties

- You have completed pedagogical training
- You bring experience and joy in dealing with heterogeneous groups of children and adolescents and meet them with respect and patience
- You communicate clearly and appreciatively with children, adolescents, colleagues, and other contact persons
- You work flexibly, responsibly, and enjoy working in a team
- You are open to new developments in pedagogy
