About the job
Material and Vehicle Custodian (80-100%)
- Maintenance of operational equipment as well as personal protective equipment
- Support in the maintenance and upkeep of fire station buildings and emergency vehicles
- Performance of firefighting operations and participation in fire drills
- Collaboration and mutual support in civil protection within Protection and Rescue Köniz
- Basic vocational training EFZ, in the mechanical or mechatronic field
- Completed basic firefighting training
- Experience as a material custodian is an advantage
- Driver's license category C1-118 (firefighting vehicles) mandatory as well as category C desirable or willingness to obtain it
- Committed, proactive personality with enthusiasm for working in a service company
- A respectful, collegial cooperation and a good working atmosphere
- Compatibility of work and private life: annual working hours, part-time work and care days
