As Senior Physician / Head Physician Medicine / Emergency, you will take on a central role in the medical team and actively shape both the clinical routine and the further development of the department. Dornach Hospital is located in close proximity to Basel and combines an attractive working environment with excellent accessibility.

Your responsibilities with us

• Professionally competent and quality-oriented care of patients in inpatient internal medicine, the medical emergency department, and the IMC
• Assuming responsibility in clinical routine as well as supporting the medical, organisational, and personnel management of the department
• Leading and mentoring assistant and senior physicians and promoting their professional development
• Active participation in the further development of structures, processes, and treatment standards
• Promoting close interprofessional collaboration with nursing, therapy, diagnostics, and other specialist disciplines
• Participation in the medical on-call service and ensuring reliable medical care together with the team

Your profile

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (with foreign diploma, MEBEKO recognition required)
• Solid clinical experience in internal medicine and ideally emergency medicine
• Many years of experience at senior physician level or in a comparable function
• Enjoyment of leadership, training, and interprofessional collaboration
• Decisiveness, sense of responsibility, and a solution-oriented working style
• Open, binding communication and respectful interaction with patients and colleagues
• Interest in not only ensuring medical care but actively further developing it
