Responsibilities
· You ensure the daily production of desserts and pastries according to the establishment's quality standards
· You manage and organize your station as well as that of the employees under your responsibility
· You carry out complex preparations and master various baking techniques
· You strictly apply hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
· You participate in the development of new recipes and the renewal of dessert menus
· You supervise stocks, place orders, and inform your superiors when necessary
· You train assistants on technical gestures and baking
· You actively collaborate with other stations to ensure smooth and coherent service
Profile sought
· You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as Pastry Chef-Confectioner or BEP/CAP Pastry Chef, Chocolatier, Ice Cream Maker, with a complementary qualification desired
· You have proven experience in a similar position, ideally in high-end hospitality
· You master classical and modern pastry techniques
· You have thorough knowledge of the products, textures, and equipment used in pastry
· You are rigorous, organized, reactive, and able to work under pressure
· You have an excellent team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and a strong customer orientation
