The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.

For our patient administration, we are looking for a patient admission employee from April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your tasks

Ensuring complete and accurate recording of outpatient and inpatient patient and case data
Patient admission of outpatient and inpatient patients
Checking and clarifying insurance coverage (including requesting deposit payments) and monitoring cost approvals
Telephone and written contact with insurance companies, doctors, and patients in connection with patient admission complete the range of tasks

Your profile

Completed vocational training with experience in the health or insurance sector
Confident German as well as good oral English skills
Customer-oriented, well-groomed, and confident appearance
Working hours from Monday to Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m.
