Regula Schlotterbeck, Head of Emergency, offers you a position from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement with a selectable workload of 60 - 80%.
MPA or FaGe Emergency Centre
In this varied role, you will alternate between the Fast Track area of the Emergency Centre and the Emergency Department. A diverse range of tasks awaits you:
- Responsibility for the admission process including complete and accurate data recording of all patients in the Emergency Centre
- Initial assessment of all emergency patients using the Manchester Triage System
- Independent coordination and care of the Fast Track area in close collaboration with the medical team
- Participation in and execution of diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the Fast Track area as well as in the emergency department
- Answering external and internal telephone calls
- Various administrative and coordinative tasks
Become part of the Department of Emergency and Acute Medicine at Zollikerberg Hospital. Our emergency department treats and cares for over 20,000 patients annually. With nine treatment places and a lively 24-hour operation, a versatile and dynamic working environment awaits you. The emergency department is part of the Clinic for Internal Medicine with training status A and works closely with the various specialist departments of the hospital.

This is how you convince us:
- Completed training as MPA EFZ or Health Specialist EFZ
- Resilience, high personal responsibility and careful working style
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system without night shifts (early, middle and late shifts, 7 days/week)
- Enjoyment of a dynamic environment and openness to change
- Strong service orientation and ability to work in a team
- Very good German skills; foreign language skills, especially English, are an advantage
