What to expect
- As a new member of the payroll team, you are jointly responsible for payroll processing and year-end accounting for around 1,400 employees
- The focus is on ensuring and being responsible for the correct "Payroll" process via Abacus in a monthly or annual task cycle including social security / withholding tax / posting and contact with authorities and offices
- You competently and appropriately support various HR employees, line managers and employees with questions about salary and social security
- Your other tasks include preparing defined reports and personnel statistics or participating in the optimization of Abacus and further digitalization within human resources
- The team reports to an HR Business Partner who looks forward to constructive and pleasant cooperation with the new member within an uncomplicated team

What you bring
- You have a commercial basic education (or similar training) and solid further training in finance, HR or payroll
- The federal specialist certificate as a social security specialist is an advantage but not mandatory
- At least 5 years of professional experience in payroll processing, ideally in a larger company and in shift work
- You have solid experience in using Abacus for payroll processing as well as good Excel skills; handling large amounts of data is almost second nature to you
- You work very precisely, independently and are used to setting priorities
- Networked thinking characterizes you as well as your structured way of working
- Your environment knows you as a service-oriented personality with high social competence
