This is the job - Your main tasks

You actively shape the future of telecommunications and especially mobile communications. Together with our team, you support leading companies in public transportation in digitalizing, automating, and making their infrastructure more sustainable. As an experienced project manager, you take responsibility from the initial idea to successful implementation. In demanding mandates, you lead interdisciplinary teams, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and advise our Eraneos specialist colleagues.
With your ICT expertise, you develop studies, strategies, and concepts. You think holistically, recognize optimization potentials, and implement them pragmatically – from developing technical solutions to supporting procurement and implementations.
In short: You ensure that digital infrastructure / mobile communication not only works but becomes a real enabler for modern, connected, and future-proof mobility.

This job is for you if

You have a technical university degree (FH/University/ETH/EPFL) in engineering, information technology, or a comparable field.
You bring at least five years of experience in the telecom or ICT environment – ideally in digital consulting, at a service provider, or directly at a company in the industry (telecom or public transportation).
You have expertise in mobile communications, especially in the topics of 5G / FRMCS (replacement of GSM-R).
You have knowledge of data center and data network technologies (IP communication) and understand what is important in their planning and operation or are eager to dive into these topics.
You have interest/knowledge in AI/ML and CyberSec related to telecom.
You convince with a collaborative, proactive working style and possess strong communication and leadership skills.
You speak and write fluent German and English – French is a plus.

As the icing on the cake, you bring

Enjoyment in shaping business development and acquiring new customers or projects.
Desire to also participate internationally – for example, in mandates in the DACH region.
Already have a strong personal network in the mentioned industries and find it easy to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
