We are looking for versatile employees to perform occasional replacements within various childcare institutions in the Romandy region of Switzerland, mainly in the Vaud canton as
Household Helpers or Stewards
Start date: immediately or to be agreed upon, for temporary assignments of short or medium duration.
Work location: mainly in the Vaud canton, depending on your mobility.
Your job description may vary according to the structures and requests.
Your main tasks
- The kitchen
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards during meals.
- Receive and check the delivered meal carts.
- Prepare meals for babies (purees and solid foods).
- Prepare snacks.
- Set up tables before meals.
- Serve meals.
- Wash dishes.
- Clean and tidy up the dining areas and the kitchen.
- The laundry
- Start the washing machines, ironing, folding, and storing laundry.
- Cleaning the premises
- Is done in the evening, after the structures close (6:30 PM or 7 PM).
- Cleaning the children's living rooms, offices, and common areas.
Your profile
- You are a household helper, steward manager, with or without a vocational diploma.
- You have at least 6 months of practical experience in a childcare institution or a similar position.
- In your previous positions, you have demonstrated flexibility and adaptability. You have distinguished yourself by your autonomy. You are willing to work alone.
- Your criminal record is clean, and you are in good physical and mental health.
- You are available for a minimum of 20% of the time.
