Department of Education
The canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden operates an independent career and vocational counseling service for youth and adults. For adult counseling and study guidance, there is also cooperation with the career counseling service of the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden.
Your tasks
- Counseling youth and adults on career choice, education, and further training
- Collaboration with schools and teachers of the secondary levels in Appenzell and Oberegg
- Cooperation with partner institutions such as RAV/IV, Integration Office, and companies
- Participation in projects and working groups
Your profile
- Advanced master’s degree in career, study, and vocational counseling
- Professional experience in counseling and conducting interviews
- Enjoy working in a small team as well as with partners from schools, social services, business, and education
- Experience in business and industry is desirable
- Resilient, team-oriented personality with confident demeanor
- Committed and independent working style, high service and customer orientation, as well as flexibility
