Tasks
In the entry level, you teach 6 preschool children with developmental delays. According to Curriculum 21, the learning content is individually compiled and simplified. Action processes and procedures are conveyed and practiced through play and practical units. As the lead teacher, you are supported in teaching and daily structure by educational staff and interns. Regular class meetings ensure sustainability and a consistent approach. Cooperation with the parallel class also enriches the school day. Interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists and therapists ensures a comprehensive view of each child's development. Additionally, the support cycle takes place in cooperation with the parents. Observations and documentation form the basis for writing reports and ensure professional work. Your contribution to school development projects is part of the team's annual working time.
Requirements
Trained kindergarten teacher with an interest in working with children who require special support measures due to their developmental and cognitive impairments.
Degree in school special education or willingness to obtain it alongside work. Further training in specific areas also enables professional action in everyday life.
You handle challenges flexibly and creatively and enjoy working in a team.
Offer
The long-standing special education teacher of the kindergarten department is in the class from Monday to Wednesday. Team teaching is very important to her. Therefore, the open lessons are divided between Thursday (all day) and Friday (morning) with the half class. Thursday can also be limited to the morning.
The special education school is located in the school facilities of Döttingen and is only about a 10-minute walk from the train station. You can expect a lively team of 45 people from various educational fields. The open school management is happy to support you during the onboarding process. The modern infrastructure in a beautiful environment also allows teaching sequences in nature. Internal training ensures a common educational attitude for successful collaboration.
