Living with mental impairments can be challenging – both for the affected person and their environment. That is why the Interest Group for Social Psychiatry Zurich (IGSP) exists. It was founded over 50 years ago out of the need to offer people accompanied and supported living opportunities.
The residential home Lueg is Land in Egg offers peace and a broad view to 23 people. The size of the house enables group activities, yet also allows for individual retreat. Our work promotes the self-determination and self-responsibility of the clients. The support is based on mutually agreed goals.
Starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed
SOCIAL PSYCHIATRY SPECIALIST AND DEPUTY RESIDENTIAL HOME MANAGER 90-100%
with training in psychiatric nursing or social pedagogy (HF/FH) as well as relevant professional experience.
As a Social Psychiatry Specialist and Deputy Residential Home Manager
- you have a goal- and resource-oriented attitude
- you accompany residents in crises, provide security, and take responsibility as a reference person
- you have a quick grasp and think in networks
- you share responsibility for maintaining the required quality of care and advocate for the further development of concepts
- you assume leadership responsibility in substitution situations, in agreement
- you take responsibility for inquiries as well as admission and discharge planning
- you maintain cooperation with other institutions and represent the residential home management in their absence towards external contacts
- you share responsibility for service recording, billing, and documentation
- you have function-appropriate IT skills as well as differentiated and confident communication skills
- you are used to working independently and have perseverance
- you are able to build and maintain sustainable relationships
- you bring organizational and planning skills
- you have function-appropriate IT skills as well as differentiated communication skills
- you bring household skills, including cooking
- you are willing to perform on-call duty about six nights per month (on-call phone)
