Laboratory Technician

For our Process Analytics division — part of the METTLER TOLEDO Group, a leading provider of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry — we are looking for a committed person at the main site in Urdorf for an 80% position as Laboratory Technician R&D (all genders).Your tasksIn this role, you will support our R&D team in the development and execution of laboratory experiments and the production of prototypes. Your main activities include:  Preparation and execution of experimental setups for testing and qualification of process sensorsSafe handling of chemicals.  Conducting analytical measurements (e.g., pH measurement technology, ion-selective methods) as well as evaluation and documentation of results.  Support in the production and processing of prototypes, including chemical coating processes and sensor assembly.  Creation of technical reports and precise documentation of all experimental results in MS Office.  Review and maintenance of safety data sheets as well as ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.  Close collaboration with interdisciplinary team members (biology, chemistry, biotechnology, materials science, mechanical engineering) and proactive communication.
