Your new role

As a student assistant, you support the Communication & Corporate Development team of Verkehrsbetriebe St. Gallen. You take the presence on social media and the website to the next level. Together with other employees, you design content (texts, photos, reels) and implement it professionally. You take over answering customer inquiries and support the team at events, tours, sponsorships, and other measures in the field of corporate communication.

This position is for you if

• You are currently studying (Bachelor / Master) in one of the fields of marketing, communication, or journalism.
• You have experience in social media and enjoy writing, photographing, and filming.
• You enjoy working with people and have a knack for telling the right stories.
• You like to work independently, carry projects from A to Z, and want to gain valuable experience in corporate communication.
• You are a team-oriented, conscientious, and flexible person with a high sense of responsibility.

Mobility is our passion. Verkehrsbetriebe St. Gallen (VBSG) ensures public transport in the city of St. Gallen and the agglomeration with around 320 employees and 90 buses. Every day, VBSG safely transports over 85,000 passengers to their destinations. The electrification work at VBSG has progressed so far that today around 65 percent of the driving performance is CO2-neutral. The Communication & Corporate Communication department takes care of internal and external corporate communication, VBSG's strategy, the development of values and leadership understanding, quality and process management, as well as occupational safety, health, and sustainability.
