Instructor for General Education, Sports and Work Environment

Plantahof | 50–100 % | Landquart

The Plantahof is a service center of the Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs and the competence center for agricultural training and counseling in the canton of Graubünden. In addition to the specialized vocational school for agriculture, Plantahof offers various continuing education courses, advanced training, and diets. Furthermore, it is responsible for counseling and comprehensive knowledge mediation in favor of agricultural businesses and alpine businesses in Graubünden and the canton of Glarus, as well as other circles connected with agricultural topics. For these purposes, it also operates its own farm trial site in four different locations, including two farm shops. Finally, it also has a diet center with boarding, an auditorium, and food management.

For April 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for an instructor for general education, sports, and work environment at 80–100 % or two instructors each at 40–50 %.

Your field of responsibilities

Teach general education (IFG), sports, and work environment in basic training as well as in continuing education courses
Collaborate and evaluate the qualification procedure for IFG and work environment
Help further develop the "IFG" and "work environment" frameworks during the revision of agricultural basic and advanced training
Collaborate in all school sectors

What we wish from you

Agronomist (bachelor or master) with specialization in instruction and counseling or IFG instructor (IFG teaching diploma) or readiness to take this training. Qualifications in sports to teach this area as a secondary task are an advantage
Enthusiasm for working with apprentices and pleasure in teaching; ideally, you already have teaching experience
Confident use of common IT applications and current digital teaching media
Reliable and content personality able to work in a team and ready to take responsibility in all school sectors
The general working language is German. Knowledge of another cantonal language is an advantage
