You’ll collaborate with talented engineering teams and contribute to solutions that keep production running smoothly and patients safe.</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Build and qualify</b> electrical and mechanical test equipment to ensure production continuity.</p></li><li><p><b>Design and innovate</b> new test equipment based on priorities, including validation of equipment, non-product software, and test methods.</p></li><li><p><b>Take ownership</b> of equipment availability and repairs, supporting the entire equipment lifecycle.</p></li><li><p><b>Drive improvements</b> through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to equipment.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p><ul><li><p>Degree in <b>Electrical or Mechanical Engineering</b>.</p></li><li><p><b>3+ years of experience</b> as an electrical or mechanical engineer.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of <b>electrical equipment and circuits</b>.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in <b>CAD design</b> and troubleshooting electrical equipment.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with software (ideally <b>C#</b>) and debugging.</p></li><li><p>Experience with <b>injection molding</b> and validation processes (EIQ/EOQ & NPS) is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in <b>English</b>; German is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of <b>TestStand</b> is an asset.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What Makes You Stand Out</b></p><ul><li><p>You enjoy <b>problem-solving</b> and finding creative solutions.</p></li><li><p>You thrive in <b>collaborative environments</b> and value teamwork.</p></li><li><p>You’re curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Working at Abbott</b></p><p>At Abbott, you can do work that matters and help people to live a healthier and fuller life, grow your career, and learn, be your true self.
