The Migration Office of the Canton of Zurich operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues and the resulting tasks. It is responsible for the enforcement of Swiss foreigner and asylum law, the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons between Switzerland and the EU and EFTA states, as well as the Schengen and Dublin agreements.
For the Asylum & Enforcement department, we are looking for a Specialist Enforcement 80 - 100% starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
As a specialist in the Enforcement team, you are responsible for enforcing expulsion orders in the areas of asylum and foreigner law, enforcing national bans, obtaining travel documents, as well as reviewing and ordering foreign law coercive measures. In addition, you write statements for the judicial detention review authorities.
For this demanding and versatile task, we require at least a commercial education (profile E or M) and several years of professional experience or a completed bachelor's degree. You are skilled in written expression and interested in legal issues as well as in the structured drafting of complex decisions. Furthermore, you convince with flexibility, high commitment, and resilience. Pleasant manners, a sense of collegial cooperation, and a touch of humor complete your profile. You also possess Swiss citizenship.
