DASBREITEHOTEL in Basel is a design & lifestyle hotel with 36 spacious rooms and furnished business apartments and seminar rooms. It offers attentive service and contemporary comfort to business people, families, and city travelers. DASBREITEHOTEL is a branch of the Weizenkorn Foundation. As an integration company, it employs staff in a supported work and training position. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Host 80 - 100 % starting from October 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Your tasks:
- Individual support and advice for our guests on their 360° guest journey (overnight stays, seminars, banquets)

Coordination of service, kitchen, and housekeeping (shift responsibility)
Educational support, guidance, and promotion of employees in the supported workplace including case documentation
Supportive collaboration with the social service of the Weizenkorn Foundation
Assistance in guiding interns, trainees, civil service workers, and employees

(clients) in the service area. You bring:
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or comparable training, ideally as a hotel communications specialist

Further training or experience in work pedagogy and in collaboration with people with disabilities is an advantage
Linguistic proficiency in German and English; French and Swiss German are an advantage

Service-oriented, open, and hospitable personality
Networked thinking and structured working style
Flexibility regarding working hours; also on weekends
Good digital skills
