Your new role
As a neighborhood police officer, you make an important contribution to preventive police work and strengthen the trust relationship between the city police and the population. In daily service, you take on general police tasks while maintaining direct contact with residents, business owners, and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities also include handling concerns of the population as well as planning and supervising prevention campaigns and larger events. In case of deployment, you may also be called upon to lead an operational section.
This position is for you if
- you can demonstrate the federal specialist certificate as a police officer and at least six years of service in the police;
- you have experience in planning and conducting larger events and ideally in operational leadership;
- you identify with preventive work and have a sociable, communicative personality;
- independence and initiative are among your strengths;
- you are willing to flexibly adapt your duty roster to the security situation and, if necessary – regardless of the day of the week – perform additional deployments;
- you have an impeccable reputation and confidentiality as well as reliability are a matter of course for you.
